FOUNDER
Elis founded W. Advocacia Empresarial to practise law by combining legal experience and technique with a multidisciplinary perspective, mapping and resolving complex issues in line with each client’s vision and objectives.
Beyond legal practice, she has worked as an arbitrator, a corporate board member, an organisational culture consultant and an advisor to women lawyers.
Her academic background began with a law degree from Faculdade de Direito de Curitiba, where she also earned a master’s degree in Business Law and Citizenship. She holds a postgraduate degree in Constitutional Law from the Brazilian Academy of Constitutional Law and an LL.M. in International Law from the prestigious New York University School of Law.
She has broadened her expertise through additional courses in Economics, Compliance, ESG, Law for Startups, Design Thinking, Regenerative Design and Systems Thinking, reflecting her versatility and her ability to adapt to new market demands.
Her talent and dedication have been recognised on several occasions. She was listed by LACCA from 2019 to 2021 and named a Rising Star in Dispute Resolution and Arbitration by Legal 500 in 2020. Since 2019 she has also been highlighted as one of Brazil’s emerging leaders in arbitration by Who’s Who Legal (now Lexology Index).
